Public Health Technology
Public health professionals engage in activities which advocate for and promote policies that encourage healthy lifestyles, research in diseases, detection and prevention of injuries, and control of diseases.
They can work with non-government organizations (NGOs), consulting firms, healthcare associations, hospitals, nursing homes, physician practices, mental health organizations, public health departments, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, universities.

National Diploma
The entry requirement into Public Health Technology is four credit passes in relevant courses in SSCE/WASCE/ GCE “O” level at not more than two sittings. These include: Biology/Health science, one subject chosen from Chemistry, Food and Nutrition, Physics and Geography.
Two subject chosen from any of Economics, Account, Commerce, Agricultural Science and Social Science. Passes in English Language and Mathematics are compulsory.
